Project Details
As the General Contractor on this $4,480,000 site project, PCS was responsible for the complete demolition of the existing playground and reconstruction of an up to date playground for children of all ages to enjoy. Toddler area, area for adolescents as well as sitting areas for parents. All new pavements consisting of color concrete, concrete paver, and asphalt pavers, 3 water features. New landscaping and site lighting, a sand box, and a musical box built into the pavement. Beneath the surface was installed a new drainage and plumbing that provided fresh water to each of the drinking fountains located in the park as well as the water features. PCS was also responsible for demolishing and reconstructing the men’s, women’s, and even staff bathrooms within the adjacent building. New French doors and windows were installed on the entire building overlooking the playground. Years of fun for the children in the community as well as those attending the adjacent public school.
