Project Details
Construction of a new Leopard Exhibit and Carousel at the Children’s Zoo within the Staten Island Zoo. It involves structural steel carousel framing and miscellaneous metals which we self-performed. We also installed the landscape, fencing, utility drainage, site pavers and site furnishings. We had subcontractors install helical piles and drilled caissons.
The work included both artificial trees and boulders interconnected to actual boulders and dead fall trees. Various viewing glass areas along with cable netting encloses these exhibits.
